The Numbers of March 2018 Nintendo just put out there sales for up to March and things are looking good! I'll just jump right into things. SNES Classic So the Snes classic, even though it was struggling with numbers, sold 5.28 Million units! The Nes only sold 2.3! Software Alright so here is the top 8 best selling games of 2018 (now this is only the software sold in  2018, so Botw isn't at the top.) Super Mario Odyssey – 10.41 million units Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – 9.22m The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild – 8.48m Splatoon 2 – 6.02m 1-2 Switch – 2.29m ARMS – 1.85m Xenoblade Chronicles 2 – 1.31m Kirby Star Allies – 1.29m Nintendo's still doing good  eh! Hardware The Nintendo has sold 17.79 million units as of March 31st 2018. This number is worldwide and is particularly impressive given how recently the Nintendo Switch launched. Nintendo President Stepping Down  in Summer Alright, so here comes some big news! Sadly, Nintendo's  President,  Tatsumi Kimishima is stepping down in June and will be replaced by 56 year old Shuntaro Furukawa. Here’s what Kotaku has to say about his successor and his part achievements “Furukawa has an impressively long history working in multiple areas of upper management at Nintendo.”   Kotaku also said,  We will develop the company to its fullest,” he said. “I will balance Nintendo’s traditions: originality and flexibility.” Are you going to miss Tatsumi Kimishima?
