What if There Was a Zelda Movie?

Since a Mario Movie is in the works, it got me thinking. What if there was a Legend of Zelda movie or TV series, wouldn't that be awesome? So I'm going to see how Zelda would look on  the big screen! But before we start, consider subscribing to NintendosView so you never miss an article.

Animation or Live Action?

So the biggest question is, what should be its animation? Or should it be live action? There have been plenty of fan made trailers so I will use those to decide.

Lice Action

I must admit, this fan made trailer is pretty convincing eh?  But the question is, is this way better for Zelda? I don't know, it looked cool and all, but I don't want it to go down the same road as World of Warcraft and Assassins Creed. So, I think with this one its up for you to decide.

Western Animated

Way back in  2015 this video popped up and rumor had it Netfix was working with Nintendo to make a Zelda TV series. But I don't know about you but it looks kinda ugly! I would prefer any of the others on this list to that one. But what if the animation was more like Disney or DreamWorks? Well, I've got you covered, here you go!

That better? The people still looked weird to me but it did look quite good! Just don't hire the people who made minions for Zelda Nintendo! So I'd be fine if it was like this.

Breath of the Wild Animation

Alright, so Breath of the Wild's animation is beautifull, there is no denying that! But what if a Zelda movie was made looking like it. For this one I used the game trailer instead of a fan one but I think  it still works. For this one I'd be worried that people would get the game and movie confused, especially is the movie was Oceania of Time or something. So I don't think this ones the best for it.

Anime

Once agin I'm not showing a fan trailer. This time it was the reveal of Palutena for Smash bros 4. But it looks amazing! But is it the best? In all honesty, I'd be completely fine if it was like this. But is there something better? Yes, here is my favorite fan trailer and I think it would be great for a Zelda game. The fan trailer is like Studio Ghibli was working with Nintendo! Check it out!

Story

So which game, If any should the movie's story be? I think there are a few options.

Oceania of Time

Natchually this one is an ovious pick. Its the Zelda that most fan trailers went for and the most iconic. I  think this one could easily work fine with the good V.S evil.

Twilight Princess

This one would work best if you want it to be PG-13. It would also work best if its live action, which I don't really want  but you might!

Majora's Mask

This one could work really well. With a creepier vibe than Oceania, it could have complex characters and villains, a world in peril and an epic showdown it could work just as well. However, in the end I think Oceania of Time is the better pick. I mean who wants to see Link put on a mask on the big screen?
