Will Super Mario Odyssey Ever Get DLC?
Super Mario Odyssey came out a year ago and since then, we have been getting plenty of small, free dlc... but fans (including myself!) are hungry for more! We went to dive back into Super Mario Odyssey with some new kingdoms, moons, captures, hard mode... anything! So, will we ever get Dlc for Super Mario Odyssey, or are we doomed to be stuck with Mario's wardrobe overflowing? Let's take a look!





Hints to Getting Dlc
There have actually been a few hints! The first one is Luigi's Balloon world where we got new filters, costumes and a new online mode where you hide and pop balloons. But, it was free dlc and since then we have been getting free dlc, after free dlc.
        But the other hint is that Super Mario Odyssey producer Yoshiaki Koizumi said, 

“We pushed ourselves to create as much as we could. I can’t announce anything specifically today, but of course, if there was a really cool idea for us to do, then we would certainly be thinking about DLC.”
Well, that's about all I got. I could go into the leaked dlc screenshots but one year later I think that proves them wrong. 



Hints to Us NOT Getting Dlc
I think the main thing is we keep getting free dlc, which could mean the only thing we get is more costumes and filters. Now, Splatoon 2 keeps getting free updates and it got paid dlc so you never know. Now, to what I would like/see paid dlc bringing.



New Kingdoms
This one could be pretty much anything. From making the ruined kingdom a full fledged kingdom (I'm  still mad about that!) to making a Isle Dalphino,  Luigi's mansion, Mario Galaxy and more kingdoms! As for which one they would do, probably something nostalgic to really make people get the dlc.






New Moons
If the team doesn't feel like making a new area, then they could just hide a few hundred more moons throughout the kingdoms for you to find. And I would be perfectly fine with that! Of course, the paid moons would have to be hidden in interesting spots and yeah, that would be great!






Hard Mode
Another thing they could do is make a hard mode. So enemies could get more lives, you could only have one life, bosses could be a lot harder and there could be less capturable enemies... its endless what they could do here! And I don't know about you, but I'd eat it up!
