In Memory of Luigi

In Memory of Luigi

We have all gathered here today, to remember a dear friend of ours, whose spirit has left this world. I am talking about Luigi, the poor plumber! Let us take a few moments my friends to remember the good times, and the bad times of Luigi Mario.

The Early Years of Luigi
Even at the beginning, Luigi life was rocky! As Mario and Luigi were being flown to there parents, Kamik  kidnaped Luigi and tried to kidnap Mario but couldn't. It was up to Yoshi to save the brothers. Even back then Luigi was put into the shadows.
Then, Luigi was visited by his future self and with Mario and Baby Mario, they got time back in order. (except for when they wanted to go go-karting!)

In The Shadows
Many years later they were plumbers, dealing with pipes and crabs! They switched jobs quite a bit afterward, and they finally went on there first real adventure. Luigi at the time was pretty much just green Mario, this went on for some time. Mario went on his adventures and Luigi sometimes joined as green Mario.

Out of the Shadows and into... the Shadows?
Luigi then earned a mansion in a race that he never ran. He excitedly told his brother and decided that they would meet each other there. But on the way, Luigi got hopelessly lost and when he finally made it, Mario was nowhere to be found. Now, Luigi had to finally step out of the shadow of his brother, concur his fear, and save his brother.
This marked a big change in both Luigi, and what we thought of him. He was no longer green Mario but had his own character, quirks, fears and even his own game.

From then on Luigi was on top of the world, showing up in 3D and 2D Mario games, sports games, racing games and most Mario games. He also starred in the year of Luigi where he got quite a few of his own games, from Dr. Luigi to Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon.

How This Came To Be

But sadly this did not last. The Switch was born and everything was going smoothly for Luigi, he was in Mario Kart, he showed up in super Mario Odyssey and just one year later, tragedy struck! He died in the castle of count Dracula himself in the latest Nintendo direct. He may be a great ghostbuster, but up agents Dracula's forces he didn't stand a chance. Poor Luigi's soul was ripped right out of him by Death himself!

And now our dear friend Luigi is gone. Thank you for joning us to honor our vary speshal friend, who will always have a place in our hearts.

 Miyamoto shows up
       "Hey everybody! What's going on?"
Programmer3000 "We were remembering Luigi's great life."
"You do realize he's okay, right?"
Everyone at the funeral gasps!
       "Luigi's... alive?"
"Yep, he just almost died to make the reveal of castlvania more dramatic!"
"WHAT!?!!?"
Miyamoto smiles. "Well, don't worry, next reveal trailer we'll have a few more characters almost die... just don't bother giving any of them funerals.

So, as it turns out it is confirmed that Luigi is alive and well! So, did you enjoy celibrating Luigi's life with us thus far? Let us know in the comments. Oh, and don't forget to like, share and subscribe to NintendosView.
