There Are a Lot Of Possible Games For 2019!
“Nintendo said it is preparing at least one unannounced title for Switch in FY19 (April onward) that "fans would be delighted to know." What would that be?FY19 means from April 2019 to March 2020. Mochizuki also mentioned how Nintendo said another unannounced game for the Switch – due to arrive in the next fiscal year as well – would be a “nice fit” for the online service.
But there's more! Emily Rogers, a vary reliable leaker (she told us about arms and how the switch would work before it even came out or we knew about it!) has come with some more juicy leaks!
First, a few weeks ago she said that she knew of three unannounced games, 1. Retro's Project. 2. Bestania's secret project and 3. she hinted at a new 2d Zelda game.
Then, she put this out...
The “Most likely” Nintendo-published game announcements for 2019. (70% chance or higher)

7. eShop game #2
8. New Labo Kit

3. Mystery game #3
4. Mystery game #4
5. eShop game #1
6. Mystery Wii U port #1 (2013 title)

The “Maybe” games for 2019. (The wild card titles – 50% chance or less)
9. Retro Studios secret game (this is assuming it wasn’t canned)
10. Metroid Prime Trilogy (assuming Zell’s info and Imran’s info are correct)
11. Mystery Wii U port #2
10. Metroid Prime Trilogy (assuming Zell’s info and Imran’s info are correct)
11. Mystery Wii U port #2
Rogers points out that some games could be pushed back to 2020 for marketing reasons, which would make sense because there's only 10 months left and we already know about Luigi's Mansion 3, Pokémon, Animal Crossing, Fire Emblem: Three Houses, Yoshi's Crafted World and more!
So... there are a few possabilites here. Assuming Luigi's Mansion 3, Animal Crossing, Fire Emblem: Three Houses, Yoshi's Crafted World and Pokémon all come out this year and are the only games for that month, That means quite a few could be for 2020, but some, like a Wiiu port or Labo kit could also come out the same month as a smaller title.
Now, with all of that out of the way, let's break things down farther. Let's start with the maybe's.
Retro's Secret Project
Now, we know that Retro is ether finishing up their project, or have recently finished it, because they are now going to be working on Metroid Prime 4.
So, the question is... what could Retro have been working on all these years? Is it the rumored Star Fox Grand Prix? Or is it a new IP? Well, it's too hard to say, but with all the rumors I'm putting my money on Star Fox.
Next question. Will this come out in 2019? The way I see it, I agree with Rogers that it has a 50% chance. But, just for speculation sake, I feel like it's time for Retro to finally come out of the shadows! I also feel like there will be one or two other big games and the rest will be smaller. But I could be vary wrong on that. Nintendo is really pushing for the switch to sell even better this year!
Metroid Prime Trilogy
This one I feel like is going to happen this year. It just feels right! Especially because Metroid Prime 4's Development is starting from scratch! It would help to tide over fans until then and introduce it to newcomers. However, it might make more sense for Nintendo to do that in the middle of Metroid's development. We'll just have to wait and see!
Mystery Games and WiiU Ports
Now, with the mystery games... it really could be anything! It could be Pikmin 4, a Mario Sport game, a 3D Zelda, or maybe even a new Paper Mario game for all we know! (and my prediction is for all 4 of them to happen this year or the next!)
As for the WiiU ports, it is equally hard to tell. My four guesses are Pikmin 3, Super Mario 3D World, Super Mario Maker, or Wonderful 101. But it could easily be none of them or all of them!
And there you have it! So, what games do you think will be coming in 2019? Let us know in the comments below. Also, don't forget to like, share and subscribe to GamingTelescope. Thanks for taking a look!
