Battle of the Intros: Mario V.S Sonic Part 1. Sonic's Best Intro

While Sonic's games have... varied in quality, Sonic's cutsceanes, on the other hand, have overall been top notch! And if we did a battle of Mario v.s Sonic back in the day it would have been a battle. Now, however, there's no competition. I think you know where I'm going with this! Its time to see which games intros are better, Mario's or Sonic's. 

  But first we need to decide which is the best intro for Mario and Sonic so the ultimate intro battle can commence.

5. Sonic Colors

Sonic Colors took a lot of people by suprise and many actually said it was pretty good. (Gasp!) "A modern Sonic Game that is fun?" But anyway, while the opening is good, it's nowhere near as good as some of the others on this list.

4. Sonic and the Black Knight

You can see my review of this game here. While it was pretty good, its opening cutscene sure was cool! However, it wasn't all that epic. It certainly introduces the game well, and Sonic just jumping in is pretty funny, it was only okay. 

3. Sonic CD

We all remember this one! Sonic CD was one of the last good Sonic games and if you havn't played it, I'd recommend it. Now the opening and ending cutsceanes were awesome! With Sonic zooming around and foiling Dr. Eggman's evil plot! It made me wish the rest of the game had that animation. Maybe Sega should do a Sonic CD remake...

2. Sonic Mania

Now this one was based on CD's cutscenes and arguably did it even better! With the great song, showing Sonic and friends adventuring and showing a not so prideful, show-off Sonic that we usually see.

1. Sonic Unleashed

This one is the definition of EPIC! I was grinning the whole time when I first saw this! I'm not sure how else to describe it. Its Sonic, speedier and harder than ever! WATCH IT!!!
