What Could Super Smash Bros Ultimate Be Hiding?
So we saw plenty of Super Smash Bros Ultimate this E3, however, I doubt they showed us everything. I have a feeling that they still have a few surprises up there sleeves.
Weather its new characters, stages or assist trophies, let's dig into the possibilities of hidden content in Smash Ultimate!
New Characters or Assist Trophies
This first section will cover characters that are fairly likely to come thanks to the evidence stacking. And no, Walawigi is not on this list. Sorry! While Ultimate director Masahiro Sakurai did note that fans
shouldn’t expect “too many new challengers,” that’s a hint that we are
getting some fresh faces at the very least. Now let's just get right to them!
Dark Samus
Now, this one doesn't have TOO much evidence but there is something noteworthy. Now in Smash for Wiiu you could change Samus's color to look like Dark Samus and was used by many players. Well, not its gone!
Also the assist trophy of Dark Samus is nowhere to be found! Coincidence? I don't think so? What other reason for them to get ride of this stuff than to make the new echo fighter Dark Samus!
Shadow
Now, whenever you think of a Sonic game who do you think of besides Sonic? Chances are most of you thought of Shadow.
And I've got proof that shadow is almost certainly in Smash! 1. Knuckles is an assist trophy. If they would have anyone be an assist trophy from the Sonic games, it would be Shadow and yet, they chose knuckles. Does this mean that shadow is instead a character? Maybe.
2. Shadow would make the perfect echo fighter for Sonic and he could work a similar way to Fox and Falco. Shadow could be a little bit slower but do a bit more damage.
I think this would work great and would be a good new addition!
Simon Belmont
First off, remember the leak from earlier that said that Ice Climbers, Ridley and Simon Belmont would be in Smash? Well they were right so far, plus that source hasn't gotten anything wrong yet.
Secondly, Castlevania is made by Konomi, the company who approved Bomberman and Snake to be in Ultimate. So why not also approve Simon?
And third, imagine fighting outside the castle with this theme playing! Its meant to be!
New Stages?
So we've covered a few new characters that may be behind the scenes, but what about stages? Well, its been confirmed that most stages are coming, but not quite all of them, which might be so that they can make room for new stages! Lets dive in!
Super Mario Odyssey Stage
Now first off, if Splatoon and Breath of the Wild get there own stages, why wouldn't Super Mario Odyssey. Especially since you can use Cappy now.
So where would the stage be? Well it could be...
A Moving Stage
This one would have the Odyssey occasionally fly off to a new kingdom, where the obstacles and layout would change. Also, the theme would play of whichever kingdom you're at. This would really capture the since of adventure of the game. It could also be at the...
New Donk City Festival
This is the one that I would want the most. It could be at the top and have Paleane be at the top, singing jump up superstar as we battle it out! I think this one could be amazing, and I really hope it happens!
A Snipperclips Stage
Now, we all thought there would be a Snipperclips stage, it just fit with all of the other odd-ball stages. The only proof I've got is that there is going to be this snipperclips song in the game, presumably for the stage.
I expect it will look like a basic snipperclips level with hazards like pencils, snip and clip, water and much more. Other than that I imagine it would be a fairly basic stage.
And Honestly that's it for stages! More people are hoping for new fighters and you can read my top 10 most wanted stages here, but that was made before ultimate was announced so some things have changed.
