Nintendo Applied For a Make, Play, Discover Trademark from the Trailer
The next news isn't quite as exciting as racing in Mario Kart with Labo. Pretty much all we know is that Nintendo applied for this trademark. It could be just to make sure we don't put this on our T-shirts or they could be planning to use it somehow. We'll just have to wait and see. I also have a feeling were going to see more of these soon. And last but not least of Labo...

More Games ARE Going to Support Labo in the Future
Now, not only will be be able to play Mario Kart with Labo, it sounds like we'll be able to play other games with Labo as well! Yoshi anyone? Anyway, here's what Nintendo had to say on the matter.
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is the first game outside of Nintendo Labo software to receive Toy-Con support, and more titles will be compatible with Nintendo Labo in the future. Please stay tuned!

What Can We Learn From This Labo News?
I think the main point is that Nintendo is using Labo more than ever and are going to continue to support it. And not just support it, I think even use it as one of the Switch's selling points! From making a trademark, to having the first game compatible with Labo, this is a big step up from a couple of DIY mini-games or projects.

So what games do you guys think will use Labo in the future? Let us know in the comments. Onto the next news!

Splatoon 2, Donkey Kong's Adventure,World Ends With You Remix And More

Digital Foundry Takes a Look At Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker For Both the Switch and 3DS

Alright so we've gotten a demo and lots of info on Captain Toad but now we get even more thanks to Digital Foundry! And they have taken a look at how Captain Toad runs on both the 3ds and switch docked and on the go. Here's what they had to say,

“These are topics any one is free to examine in more depth, as Nintendo has released playable demos for both systems, available to all now on the eShop. And as you might expect, on the matter of visuals, Switch coasts through with no problem whatsoever. On Wii U, Captain Toad is a 720p game – just like most of the console’s library. When played in docked mode on Switch, resolution is increased to a full 1080p while handheld mode targets the native 720p of the mobile screen instead.”
“Clearly, texture detail, shader quality and geometry complexity all take a noticeable hit but on the small 3DS display, it manages to hold up better than you’d think. As a late generation 3DS game, Captain Toad is a surprising showpiece for the system – it’s one of the most attractive games I’ve ever played on the system and it looks fantastic when using the 3D feature. The one key compromise? It runs at 30 frames per second – just like the comparable Super Mario 3D Land – and that’s half the frame-rate of the Wii U original. It is consistent though, and that’s also the case for the Switch port which (in terms of the demo at least) is doggedly locked to 60fps whether playing portably or when docked.”

So obviously the Switch runs better than the 3ds, however you can play it in 3D on the 3ds. So you can choose which one is more important for you. (or get both!)

So now you can listen to all of your favorite Kirby music! Enjoy!

Nintendo's Plan For Splatoon 2 Single Player, Premium
Which is none at all!
So Splatoon 2's Octo Expansion is almost out, and it looks like this is the last single player mode. In a recent interview, producer Hisashi Nogami confirmed that he and his team have no current plans for more single-player, premium releases. This could, of course change, but at the same time Splatoon is a more multiplayer experience.
