Nintendo News September 6, 2018 Includes New Zelda Game Hint, Meat Boy Amiibo Hint, Delayed Nintendo Direct and More!
Welcome all to another news article where we have gathered all the latest (well, right now at least!) news! But before we start, please consider liking, sharing and subscribing to GamingTelescope so you can always SEE when there's a new article. Let's take a look!

Wait... Did They Just Hint For a Super Meat Boy Amiibo?
Super Meat Boy is a extremely famous (and difficult) indie game that has fairly recently come to the switch.

Tommy Refenes, co-founder of the series' developer Team Meat, has been speaking to Nintenderos about what players can expect from the new game. Various details were confirmed during the interview, such as the inclusion of online features (which will extend to contain a classification table so that players can easily compare their stage times) and the fact that the game will run at 60fps and 1080p on Switch. Also, the subtitle of 'Forever' was apparently chosen because "the levels are generated randomly, so you could almost play Super Meat Boy ... Forever".

Interestingly, though, in answer to a question talking about potential differences or exclusive features present in the Switch version, Refenes touched on the idea of an amiibo figure. He notes that the Switch version doesn't have any exclusive features - as part of a move that aims to see an identical release across all platforms - but also mentions that, "if" an amiibo is ever made for the game, its features would likely be exclusive.

"At the moment no. But if we ever do an amiibo, I'm sure that its function will be exclusive to Switch, although for now all platforms receive the same game. "
Now, third party amiibo's alone are rare, but the only indie games to get amiibo is shovel knight! So its certainly interesting that it sounds like there considering the idea of a Super Meat Boy amiibo.

Nintendo Direct Delayed Because of Earthquake In Japan
This news is sad for two reasons. 1. There is a terrible earthquake in Japan. This devastating natural disaster comes almost immediately after the country was subject to a typhoon which ripped through major western cities. The magnitude 6.7 earthquake has claimed the lives of several people living on the island, with many more injured and missing. Officials fear that an unknown number of people may still be buried underneath landslides and many essential services such as hospitals and transport links have been destroyed.
     2. Because of this, out of respect Nintendo has delayed the direct for a future date. Here's what Nintendo has said.

"Due to the powerful earthquake in Hokkaido, Japan, we have decided to delay this week’s planned Nintendo Direct. We will provide a new time and date in the near future. Thank you for your understanding."

I can respect and even support this. So what if we have to wait a week! More room for speculation! Pray for Japan guys! The Big N Is Missing!

Before this massive earthquake hit, a horrific typhoon devastated Japan. But not just Japan, it literally sent the big N on Nintendo's HQ in Kyoto flying! It hasn't been seen since! Crazy stuff is happening over there! Commercial Break! Ummm, so what your saying is, I should shove some ketchup into the screen to make it so my opponent cant see? Were they showing off the new blooper item or what? A pretty weird commercial if you ask me! Alright guys, watch this commercial if you ever feel that your bad at video games! Also, does this teach us that mega mushrooms are made out of milk? Alright, back to the news! Wow, I played this game when I was a kid! I had no idea they made that bad of games when I was a kid! This is terrible! Punish him! Anyway, back to the news! Diablo III Could Come Out The Day Of Blizcon This could be interesting! Well, we all know that Diablo III is coming to the Nintendo Switch, the question is when. Well, a new listing by Target now suggests the game could be arriving as soon as 2nd November. According to a Reddit thread via GoNintendo, this release date aligns with the first day of BlizzCon 2018. So it vary well could happen then! If so, that would be an awesome way to kick off Blizcon!

Yoshi Title Accidently Leaked By Nintendo?
Now, since the Nintendo direct was planned to happen today, it seems they planned on revealing the title of Yoshi and then updating the title on there website. But since the direct was delayed, apparently they forgot to change it back to Yoshi. So we can now see that it is called "Yoshi's Crafted World" Now, this could just be another placeholder title but I don't think so.

New Zelda Tease By Eiji Aonuma!
According to Nintendo Soup, Aonuma shared some more of his thoughts (originally dating back to 2017) about the future Zelda game - with the suggestion it might even be developed in time to be released on the Nintendo Switch and could perhaps utilise some of the system's untapped features.
I sure hope it comes out on switch, espshually since its planned to be around 5 plus years!

And there you have it! So what did you think of all this news? Let us know in the comments below. Thanks for looking through the GamingTelescope!
