Review of the March Nintendo Direct 2018





Now I think we all know what a Nintendo direct is, but if you don't, its a thing Nintendo does every once and a while where they announce upcoming games and give new info. So incase you missed it, or just want to look at it again, there we go!

The 3ds lineup

No one expected this! There STILL supporting the 3ds! And not only that but there are quite a few games! There is Wario Ware Gold, which has over 300 micro games! A Luigi's mansion remake, (I'm still mad its not on switch!) Bowser's inside story + bowser jr which should be interesting and Detective picachu! (Which I still think is going to stink!) And there you have it. Moving on to switch!

   The Nintendo Switch Lineup

Some new content was shown such as dlc for playing as King Deeadee, meta knight, fighting waddledoo and kirby callback freinds. This game is coming March 16.

I've never played this game before but it looks amazing! It will come this summer.

This game is coming to the 3ds and switch on June 8th

Project Octopath Traviler
Coming this summer. Its a really cool 2d-HD RPG develuped by the legendary Square Enix! You can try out the Demo on the eshop now! Its coming July 13.

 Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker 
That's right! Another port! Jokes aside, I skipped this on the wiiu and I think it looks really fun! Plus there are some Super Mario Odyssey themed stages now!

Crash Bandicoot Insane Trilogy   

 

 If you had told someone 10 years ago that crash bandicoot was coming to a Nintendo platform, they would have laughed in your face. But its happening! And its coming July 10.

The Rest of the surprises
The other third party games coming are Undertale (Coming soonish?), South park, Dark Souls (May 25, and yes, dark souls on Nintendo Switch!), Travis strickes again: No more hearos, and Little Nightmaires (May 18) Wow! Lots of games anounced right before E3, but wait there's More!

Mario Tennis Aces and More...
First off is Mario tennis aces witch, pritty much got a release date and we got to see how kinda how it works with all the shots and stuff. It is coming June 22.

Hyrule Warriors gets a release date
Get ready to slash your way through Hyrule Warriers once again! But this time with all the content from the wiiu and 3ds, plus Breath of the Wild Link and Zelda. Its coming May 18.
There was also a new spatoon 2 DLC revealed with a new single player mode but I think you will all be more interested in...

 But there's on more thing...
Oh my gosh! Super Smash Brothers is coming to the Nintendo Switch... this YEAR! HECK YEAH!!!!!!!!!!! Get ready to battle your friends in a smash battle, because its official!

Conclusion

 So that's the March Nintendo direct, most of the time I was thinking it was more of a dissipointment than the January one was... but that was until smash!
