Will Ridley come to Smash?

Will Ridley come to Smash?
To be or not to be, that is the question. Fans have been begging for some time now for Ridley to come to Smash. But will Masahiro Sakurai let it happen? Lets find out! But before we start, consider subscribing to NintendosView so you can never miss any of our articles. Now lets hunt down Ridley!

Reasons to come
The Metroid searies has been around for quite some time now, and its about time for the Metroid universe to be more represented in smash. Alright, Reasons for him to come are...

The Fans Want Ridley
Alright, here me out! So there are a LOT of big Metroid fans and I think ALL of them are pounding on Nintendo's door demanding Ridley to be in Smash. And Nintendo listens to there fans...  half the time.  So maybe Sakurai might let in to the fans?

With some Tweaks he could make a good Fighter
If you check out this video you'll know what I mean. And even if you don't I think you can imagine. It would be awesome to play as Ridley, I know I would play as him! He would also have to be smaller, maybe a little bigger than Bowser and shrink the head and presto! Ridley's a fighter!

Need of Metroid representation and more villains!
Ridley would fix two problems with smash with one go! Metroid only has one character (unless you count Zero suit Samas!) which is terrible! Its been around about as long as Link and Mario themselves! But it makes sense since Samas Aron is the only human we really see (except for other M,  but I'm not counting that!) in the Metroid and Metroid Prime games.  The other issue is that there are only been like 6 villains in Smash history! And there are more than 50  characters in  Smash. We all know its amazing to play as your favorite heroes,  but its also a lot of fun to  play as your favorite Villains!

Why Ridley Might NOT come to Smash

Size and Sakurai
Alright so  here comes the biggest problems! Ridley,  Sakurai says Ridley's too big and he only does characters how he believes they should be. Which is good...  in  most cases.
I definitely know that Ridley’s a much-anticipated name for fans, but if we made Ridley as a fighter, it wouldn’t be Ridley any longer,” Sakurai told IGN in an email interview. “It’d have to be shrunk down, or its wings reduced in size, or be unable to fly around freely.”

“Providing accurate portrayals of characters is something I want to pay ample attention to,” he continued. “If I don’t stick to that thought, then we’d have to lower the quality or break the balance of the game. Something that goes way off spec could break the entire game.”

As I said earlier, can't we just shrink his head or something? He looked fine in the mods. But there you have it. Do you think/hope Ridley comes to Smash? Let us know in the comments.  The countdown to E3 is commencing!
