What Games Will We See In 2019?
Can you believe that it's almost 2019? It feels like just yesterday we saw the flaming Chibi-Robo and we learned that Smash was coming out this year! But with 2018 almost gone, it makes you wonder... what will we see in 2019? But before we start, please consider liking, sharing and subscribing to GamingTelescope. Now, let's take a look!
Games We Already Know
Yoshi's Crafted World was announced last E3 for 2018, but was delayed for 2019 and has had a number of changes. But, finally, next year we will finally get to play this charming platformer.
I'm going to guess it's a fairly early Spring title.
Luigi's Mansion 3 was announced last Nintendo direct and I am so excited!!! Anyway, it will come out in 2019, probably closer to Halloween. It looks more like the second Luigi's mansion, but hopefully It's more like the first.
Fire Emblem: Three Houses
While it was suppose to come out this year, just like Yoshi it was pushed back to 2019. I imagine it will have a Summer or Fall release.
That's right! Next year, we'll be getting another Pokémon game! This one more like the other Pokémon games and more for the hardcore gamers. It will be a heavy hitter so I imagine it will come out Oct, Nov area.
Town (Working Title)
In a surprise announcement at the last Nintendo direct, Nintendo revealed that GameFreak was working on a new RPG... that's not Pokémon! Yep, it takes place in a town that you must defend from monsters. I imagine this will be a Summer release.
The two heavy hitters for 2019 seems to be Pokémon and Animal Crossing. Animal Crossing was confirmed for 2019 last Nintendo direct as well! I imagine it will be a Summer or Fall game.
Possible Games
I think this one is equally likely to be in 2019, or to be in 2020 and beyond. The lineup of 2019 is so packed with good games already I'm not sure if we can handle Metroid Prime 4 being in 2019 as well!
But, if it is, then it will be the best year for the switch by far! I imagine it would be a Fall title.
Pikmin 4 has been teased practically since Pikmin 3 was announced but again, I could easily see this as a 2020 title. I feel like most of the other games that will be announced wont be as big as Metroid Prime 4 or Pikmin 4 if you know what I mean! But, I could see this as a Spring or Summer game.
Retro has been missing since 2014! Its time for Retro to return, this time bringing the Star Fox team into a rumored galactic racing game! While this one would be a filler in comparison to Pokémon, I imagine this one would still be a big deal! I could see this as a Summer title.
Metroid Prime Trilogy
If we don't see Metroid Prime 4 this year, surely we'll see a Metroid Prime Trilogy to re-catch ourselves and newcomers alike, right? Well, I hope so, but Nintendo seems more interested in Wiiu ports than Wii ones. Speaking of which...
At Least One WiiU Port
Now, Super Mario Bros.U Deluxe is already confirmed for January 2019, but we all know that's not going to be it! There is almost certainly going to be at LEAST one other.
As for what it will be, it's hard to say. It could be Wind Waker HD, Super Mario 3D World and much much more!
A 2D Zelda Game or Port
While the main team will be working on the next 3D title, that doesn't mean other teams can go for a more traditional route with a 2D Zelda game like a Link Between Worlds. I can see this being a Spring or Fall title.
